Rather expected game in Willetton where 4th placed Tigers (7-5) were defeated by first ranked Wanneroo (12-1) 83-68 on Saturday. Wanneroo looked well-organized offensively handing out 32 assists. It was a great evening for American forward Jalen Billups (200-92, college: N.Kentucky, agency: Haylett Sports) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds. His fellow American import guard Brian Sullivan (180-93, college: Davidson) helped adding 16 points. Senegalese power forward Badou Diagne (205-93, college: Co.Carolina) responded with 18 points and 9 rebounds and guard Damien Scott (192-92) scored 17 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Tigers' coach tested ten players and allowed the starting five to rest. Wanneroo maintains first place in League with 12-1 record. Loser Tigers dropped to the fifth position with five games lost. Wanneroo will face Magic (#12) in Mandurah in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Tigers will play at home against Senators (#4) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
