Finals Game 3: Zrinjski HT - Igokea 71-65

Zrinjski HT claimed the second victory in the championship series. They held off Igokea for 2-1 advantage. The hosts started the game with a very strong first quarter 24-8. But Igokea won second period 17-16. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Zrinjski HT made 24-of-29 free shots (82.8 percent) during the game. Zrinjski HT had a 33-17 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Zrinjski HT made 10 blocks. 25 personal fouls committed by Igokea helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was Croatian guard Sven Smajlagic (195-90) who scored 14 points, 8 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 blocks. Croatian forward Marko Ramljak (201-93) chipped in a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds. Four Zrinjski HT players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was American guard Dominic Artis (192-93, college: UTEP) who recorded 26 points and 4 steals and Serbian Nikola Jevtovic (208-89) added 8 points and 7 rebounds respectively. Igokea's coach Zarko Milakovic rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
