Regular Season Round 11: Ringwood H. - Hume City 111-95

The game had a very big importance for third-ranked Ringwood Hawks as it allowed them to take a leadership position in League. Ringwood Hawks defeated 8th ranked Hume City Broncos in Heathmont 111-95. Ringwood Hawks players were unselfish on offense dishing 30 assists. It was an exceptional evening for forward Matthew Fennell who led the winners and scored 21 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists. Power forward Shaun Clarke (204) accounted for 21 points and 12 rebounds for the winning side. Ringwood Hawks' coach used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Naturalized British guard Lee Jeka (193-83) came up with 29 points and 4 assists and American forward Trevon Clayton (198, college: Fresno Pacific) added 18 points and 15 rebounds respectively for Hume City Broncos in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. As mentioned above they took over a top position. Hume City Broncos at the other side keep the eighth place with seven games lost. Hume City Broncos will play next round against Stingrays trying to get back on the winning streak. Ringwood Hawks will try to continue on its current victory against fourth ranked Magic at Hawthorn.
