Very predictable result when first ranked Kilsyth Cobras (8-1) smashed at home 7th ranked Diamond Valley Eagles (2-8) 94-74 on Saturday. It was a great evening for forward Chris Patton (208-91, college: Cal-Riverside) who led his team to a victory scoring 18 points and 7 rebounds. American Isaac Turner (191-92, college: St.Vincent) helped adding 21 points. American forward Mike Best (208-93, college: Cal-Irvine) responded with 18 points and 8 rebounds and New Zealand forward Dyson King-Hawea (200-92) scored 16 points and 5 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Kilsyth Cobras maintains first place in League with 8-1 record. Loser Diamond Valley Eagles keep the seventh position with eight games lost. Kilsyth Cobras will face league's second-placed Spectres in East Burwood in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Diamond Valley Eagles will play at home against Canberra Gunners (#8) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
