No shocking result in a game when eleventh ranked Ipswich Force (2-2) edged on the road bottom-ranked Brisbane Spartans (0-4) 90-89 on Sunday. It was a great evening for American forward Kyle Harvey (196-91, college: Williams Baptist) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 34 points (!!!) and 10 rebounds. Point guard Jason Ralph (178-95, college: Valley City St.) helped adding 22 points. Harvey is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Ipswich Force's coach used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. American swingman Dashawn King (190-92, college: UMKC) responded with 30 points and guard Jaryd Eustace (201-94, college: Miami, OH) produced a double-double by scoring 20 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists. Four Brisbane Spartans players scored in double figures. Ipswich Force moved-up to tenth place in League. Loser Brisbane Spartans still closes the standings with four games lost. Ipswich Force will face Toowoomba Mountaineers (#12) at home in the next round.
