The game between closely ranked teams ended with tenth ranked Keilor T.'s (3-7) home victory over 11th ranked Blackburn V. (2-9) 93-83 on Sunday. Keilor T. looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Blackburn V. was plagued by 28 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a great evening for American guard Jordan Coleman (196-92, college: Valparaiso) who led his team to a victory scoring 25 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Matt Spencer helped adding 19 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. Brendan Trewella responded with 25 points and 7 rebounds and Michael DAgostino scored 20 points and 7 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Blackburn V.'s coach tested eleven players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Newly promoted Keilor T. maintains tenth place in League with 3-7 record. Blackburn V. at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the eleventh position with nine games lost. Keilor T. will face league's leader Ringwood Hawks in Heathmont in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Blackburn V. will play at home against Knox Raiders (#5) and hope to win that game.
