Ninth ranked Lobos UAD Mazatlan (9-16) beat at home 7th ranked Caballeros de Culiacan (12-13) by 15 points 97-82, which is the biggest margin this round on Tuesday night. Lobos UAD Mazatlan looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The former international forward Michael Lizarraga (200-89, college: CS Northridge) stepped up and scored 19 points and 9 rebounds for the winners and American forward Carl Hall (202-89, college: Wichita St.) chipped in 19 points and 6 rebounds. Lobos UAD Mazatlan's coach Eric Weissling let to play all 12 players and allowed the starting five to rest.
