ALBA stormed past Ludwigsburg on the road to step closer to BBL Finals. ALBA Berlin dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to EnBW Ludwigsburg's 34. It was a great shooting night for ALBA Berlin especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.4 percentage. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 27 assists. The game was dominated by American players. Swingman Spencer Butterfield (190-92, college: Utah St., agency: 3Eye) orchestrated the victory by scoring 17 points. Forward Luke Sikma (203-89, college: Portland) contributed with 8 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners. Four ALBA Berlin players scored in double figures. Forward Elgin Cook (198-93, college: Oregon, agency: BeoBasket) replied with 21 points and swingman Thomas Walkup (193-92, college: SF Austin) added 11 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists in the effort for EnBW Ludwigsburg. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
