No shocking result in a game when second ranked Rangers (6-4) won against on the road 6th ranked Geelong Supercats (5-6) 76-66 on Friday. The game was mostly controlled by Rangers. Geelong Supercats was better in fourth quarter 21-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Worth to mention a great performance of power forward Tayla Roberts (191-93) who helped to win the game recording 22 points and 8 rebounds and international guard Tessa Lavey (172-93) who added 17 points and 5 assists during the contest. Rangers maintains second position in League with 6-4 record having just two points less than leader Bendigo LB. Loser Geelong Supercats keep the sixth place with six games lost. Rangers will face Diamond Valley Eagles (#6) in Greensborough in the next round. Geelong Supercats will play on the road against Frankston Blues in Seaford and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
