Not a big story in a game in Sutherland where 7th ranked Bruins (3-6) were defeated by third ranked Sharks (7-3) 79-67 on Saturday. Sharks forced 23 Bruins turnovers. Bruins were plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of American point guard Chelsie Schweers (170-89, college: Chris.Newport) who helped to win the game recording 40 points (!!!) and Madeleine Norris who added 14 points and 11 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was Olivia White with a double-double by scoring 26 points and 12 rebounds and Briana Maimone scored 18 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Bruins' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Sharks maintains third position in League with 7-3 record having just one point less than leader Bendigo LB. Loser Bruins keep the seventh place with six games lost. Sharks will face Panthers (#9) in Penrith in the next round where they are favorite. Bruins will play at home against Hills Hornets and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
