Regular Season Round 12: Willetton T. - Stirling S. 83-69

There was a small surprise in Willetton where sixth ranked Tigers (8-6) won against 4th ranked Senators (9-6) 83-69 on Saturday. Tigers looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. The best player for the winners was Senegalese power forward Badou Diagne (205-93, college: Co.Carolina) who had a double-double by scoring 19 points and 13 rebounds. Guard Damien Scott (192-92) chipped in 17 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Tigers players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was the former international forward Cody Ellis (202-90, college: St.Louis) who recorded a double-double by scoring 11 points and 14 rebounds and American guard Justin King (196-89, college: TRU) added 20 points and 5 rebounds respectively. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Tigers maintains sixth position in League with 8-6 record. Loser Senators keep the fourth place with six games lost. Tigers will face Lightning (#7) in North Lake in the next round. Senators will play on the road against the league's leader Wanneroo in Joondalup and hope to win that game.
