We could consider it a predictable result in the game between close teams when fifth ranked Sydney Uni S. (6-5) outleveled at home one of their biggest challengers Nationals (5-4) 70-48 on Saturday. The game without a history. Sydney Uni S. led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Sydney Uni S. outrebounded Nationals 39-24 including 27 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Susannah Walmsley (170-91) who helped to win the game recording 16 points and 7 rebounds and Sherrie Calleia who added 15 points during the contest. Sydney Uni S.'s coach felt very confident using 11 players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. The best for the losing side was forward Keely Froling (188-96, college: SMU) with 21 points and 7 rebounds and American forward Brittni Montgomery (190-92, college: Cent.Florida) scored 10 points and 6 rebounds. Sydney Uni S. moved-up to fourth place in League. Loser Nationals dropped to the fifth position with four games lost. Sydney Uni S. will face league's second-placed Rangers in Dandenong in the next round and it may be the game of the week. Nationals will play at home against Tornadoes and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
