Regular Season Round 3: Stadio Italiano - Brisas 75-73

A very close game took place in Santiago between Stadio Italiano and Brisas. Stadio Italiano (0-2) got a very close home victory over Brisas (0-2). Stadio Italiano managed to escape with a 2-point win 75-73 on Saturday evening. It was a great evening for Joaquin Ulloa (-92) who led his team to a victory scoring 22 points. Salvadorean Jorge Cornejo (-88) helped adding 18 points. The best for the losing side was power forward Sascha Frings (202-86) with 16 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists and Felipe Gutierrez (-92) scored 15 points and 6 rebounds. Four Brisas players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Stadio Italiano will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Brisas will play against Manquehue (#3) and look forward to get finally their first victory.
