Rather expected game in Narrabeen where 8th ranked Spiders (3-9) were rolled over by fifth ranked Manly Warringah Sea Eagles (8-3) 102-76 on Saturday. Manly Warringah Sea Eagles forced 22 Spiders turnovers. The best player for the winners was naturalized Polish swingman Stefan Blaszczynski (196-84, college: Nicholls St.) who scored 13 points and 7 rebounds. Abe Bulgin chipped in 17 points and 4 steals. Manly Warringah Sea Eagles' coach felt very confident that he used 11 players and allowed the starting five to rest. At the other side the best for losing team was Matthew Horsley who recorded 27 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists (on 11-of-14 shooting from the field) and Matthew McElhone added 19 points and 11 rebounds respectively. Manly Warringah Sea Eagles moved-up to third place in League. Loser Spiders dropped to the ninth position with nine games lost. Manly Warringah Sea Eagles will face Maitland Mustangs (#10) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Spiders will play against Crusaders and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
