ALBA handed the third straight defeat to Ludwigsburg and paved their way into BBL Finals. ALBA Berlin made 20-of-25 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. ALBA Berlin outrebounded EnBW Ludwigsburg 33-21 including 23 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. The best player for the winners was American swingman Spencer Butterfield (190-92, college: Utah St., agency: 3Eye) who scored 19 points and 7 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). Lithuanian forward Marius Grigonis (198-94) chipped in 16 points. At the other side the best for losing team was American forward Dwayne Evans (201-92, college: St.Louis, agency: Inception Sports) who recorded 18 points and the other American import point guard Kerron Johnson (183-90, college: Belmont) added 11 points, 8 assists and 5 steals respectively. Five EnBW Ludwigsburg players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game.
