A very interesting game took place in Tullamarine. It ended with only two-point defeat on the road of one of their biggest challengers Sharks (5-4) to sixth ranked Hume City Broncos (5-4) 74-72 in the fight for the fourth place. Hume City Broncos outrebounded Sharks 47-34 including 16 on the offensive glass. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 29 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by Sharks' players. It was a good game for forward Vivien Saad (-92) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 15 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists. Louisa Murphy contributed with 20 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Swingman Jazmin Shelley (174-0) replied with 27 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists and American guard Peyton Little (180-93, college: Oklahoma) added 20 points in the effort for Sharks. Hume City Broncos moved-up to fourth place in League. Hume City Broncos' next round opponent will be league's leader Knox Raiders in Wantirna South and it may be the game of the week. Sharks will play on the road against Jets (#6) in Sunbury and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
