Regular Season Round 3: Charging Rhinos - Our Saviour 59-66

Everything went according to plan in Kampala where Our Saviour (4-2) beat Charging Rhinos (1-4) 66-59 on Sunday. They outrebounded Charging Rhinos 33-15 including 19 on the defensive glass. It was a great evening for center Daniel Monoja who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds. Guard Joseph Wacha (-91) helped adding 17 points. The best for the losing side was Ian Magolukejje with 9 points and the former international center Sam Gombya (213-89) scored 11 points. Charging Rhinos' coach let to play eleven players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Our Saviour will face Ndejje (#10) in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Charging Rhinos' supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Kampala to the arena Pemba Warriors.
