Regular Season Round 6: Trotamundos - Gaiteros 92-46

An interesting game for Trotamundos (6-1) which hosted in Valencia 4th ranked Gaiteros (0-3). Second ranked Trotamundos had an easy win 92-46. Trotamundos forced 24 Gaiteros turnovers and outrebounded them 45-27 including a 19-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. International center Luis Carrillo (206-93) notched a double-double by scoring 13 points, 15 rebounds and 4 blocks to lead the effort and international point guard Pedro Chourio (186-90) supported him with 18 points and 6 rebounds. Five Trotamundos players scored in double figures. Even 10 points and 8 rebounds by Abraham Ramos did not help to save the game for Gaiteros. Guard David Cedeno (191-83) added 9 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Trotamundos have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain second position in Western Conference with 6-1 record behind leader Guaros. Gaiteros at the other side still closes the standings with three games lost. Trotamundos will meet Cocodrilos (#5) in the next round. Gaiteros will play against Toros and hope to get finally their first victory.
