Semi-Finals Game 1: Fenerbahce - Banvit BK 86-81

Fenerbahce rallied past Banvit to take the lead in the semifinal series. Banvit was trailing by 1 point at halftime but managed to get 2-point lead after three quarters before a 26-19 charge of Fenerbahce, which allowed them to win the game. They shot the lights out from three sinking 13 long-distance shots on high 56.5 percentage. Fenerbahce looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Italian Nicolo Melli (205-91) stepped up and scored 10 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists for the winners and American guard James Nunnally (201-90, college: UCSB) chipped in 22 points (perfect behind the arc making all six shots !!!). Four Fenerbahce players scored in double figures. At the losing side American-Italian Angelo Caloiaro (205-89, college: USF, agency: Pensack Sports) responded with 29 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field) and American point guard Tony Taylor (185-90, college: G.Washington) scored 21 points and 7 assists. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game.
