Zalgiris outscored Lietkabelis to take the lead in the series. It looked good early as Lietkabelis took a 7-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Zalgiris had a 23-15 second period charge getting the lead and Lietkabelis was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 69-93. Zalgiris dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Lietkabelis' 32 and made 27-of-35 charity shots (77.1 percent) during the game. Lietkabelis was plagued by 27 personal fouls down the stretch. American center Brandon Davies (208-91, college: BYU, agency: BeoBasket) nailed 14 points and 7 rebounds for the winning side and his fellow American import Aaron White (206-92, college: Iowa) accounted for 13 points and 5 rebounds. Four Zalgiris players scored in double figures. Latvian swingman Zanis Peiners (207-90) came up with 22 points and forward Donatas Tarolis (202-94, agency: Interperformances) added 8 points and 7 rebounds respectively for Lietkabelis in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
