Petrol Olimpija outscored Krka in overtime thriller to celebrate LN KBM title. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Krka won fourth quarter 20-18. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening, at least not yet. The game turned upside-down in the last quarter, where Krka used huge pressure winning it 20-18 getting a tie at the end of regular time. They lost eventually overtime period 4-9. Olimpija looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Krka was plagued by 30 personal fouls down the stretch. The best player for the winners was American forward Jordan Morgan (203-91, college: Michigan) who scored 23 points and 8 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field). His fellow American import Devin Oliver (204-92, college: Dayton) chipped in a double-double by scoring 16 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. Olimpija's coach Zoran Martic used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. International center Ziga Dimec (210-93) produced a double-double by scoring 21 points and 12 rebounds and Serbian-Bosnian forward Marko Josilo (200-92) added 15 points, 12 rebounds and 6 assists respectively for the guests. Five Olimpija and four Krka players scored in double figures.
