Regular Season Round 31: Hermosillo - Mazatlan 75-71

Very expected game when 9th ranked Lobos UAD Mazatlan (13-18) was defeated on the road by second ranked Rayos de Hermosillo (18-13) 75-71. However just four-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. It was a very good performance for American forward Emmanuel Little (196-85, college: N.Dakota) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 15 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. Forward Jorge Camacho (203-89, college: E.Kentucky) contributed with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. Little is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top summer league for players who want to play basketball overseas. Four Rayos de Hermosillo players scored in double figures. Jamaican-American guard Akeem Scott (185-83, college: High Point) answered with 20 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists and American forward Carl Hall (202-89, college: Wichita St.) added 18 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Lobos UAD Mazatlan. Rayos de Hermosillo maintains second place with 18-13 record having just two points less than leader Navolato. Lobos UAD Mazatlan at the other side dropped to the eighth position with 18 games lost. Rayos de Hermosillo's next round opponent will be again Lobos UAD Mazatlan (#9) at home and are hoping to win another game.
