Regular Season Round 13: Logan T. - NGC Seahawks 83-89

Rather expected game in Loganholme where 10th ranked Logan Thunder (2-4) was defeated by seventh ranked Seahawks (4-3) 89-83 on Saturday. Seahawks forced 21 Logan Thunder turnovers. Guard Casey Samuels (182-94) fired 29 points and 6 assists for the winners. American center Leeza Burdgess (194-90, college: La Salle) chipped in 24 points and 7 rebounds. Seahawks' coach used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Swingman Mikhaela Donnelly (177-94) produced 31 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists (made all of her ten free throws !!!) and forward Zitina Aokuso (192-98) added 17 points and 12 rebounds respectively for lost side. Seahawks moved-up to sixth place in League. Loser Logan Thunder dropped to the eleventh position with four games lost. Seahawks will face Power (#13) in Gladstone in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Logan Thunder will play at home against Force and hope to win that game.
