Regular Season Round 13: Kilsyth LC - Bendigo LB 66-87

There was a minor upset in Kilsyth where leader Lady Cobras (8-3) were rolled over by leader Lady Braves (10-0) 87-66 on Saturday. The game without a history. Lady Braves led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 22-of-27 free shots (81.5 percent) during the game. Power forward Nadeen Payne (188-93, agency: LBM Management) fired a double-double by scoring 16 points and 17 rebounds (made all of her ten free throws !!!) for the winners. The former international guard Kelly Wilson (170-84) chipped in a double-double by scoring 18 points, 12 assists and 4 steals. Four Lady Braves players scored in double figures. International forward Sara Blicavs (188-93) produced 18 points and American swingman Jasmine Gill (185-90, college: JMU, agency: Two Points) added 15 points and 5 rebounds respectively for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Lady Braves maintains first place in League with 10-0 record. Loser Lady Cobras dropped to the second position with three games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
