Regular Season Round 4: Aleman - CDU Concepcion 62-51

Second defeat of league's leader Universidad de Concepcion (2-2) against top-ranked Aleman (2-0) 62-51 was the most important game of the last round. Worth to mention a great performance of Pablo Trujillo who helped to win the game recording 14 points. The former international guard Jorge Vasquez (185-86) contributed with 5 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Four Aleman players scored in double figures. Guard Alberto Aguirre (186-97) replied with 17 points and Alonso Maldonado added 14 points in the effort for Universidad de Concepcion. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Aleman keeps a position of Pro leader. Universidad de Concepcion at the other side dropped to the second place with two games lost. They were replaced at the leadership position by Boston Coll.. Universidad de Concepcion will have a break next week, which should allow them to rest and make it back to the top of the standings. Aleman will try to continue on its current victory against fifth ranked Espanol de Talca on the road.
