Regular Season Round 13: Melbourne T. - Ballarat R. 84-64

There was no surprise in Melbourne where 7th ranked Ballarat Rush (4-6) was crushed by fourth ranked Tigers (6-5) 84-64 on Saturday. The game without a history. Tigers led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Guard Rebecca Cole (178-92) fired a double-double by scoring 23 points and 11 assists for the winners. Point guard Monique Conti (165-99) chipped in 12 points and 8 rebounds. Tigers' coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American guard Courtney Walker (173-94, college: Texas A&M) produced 26 points and 9 rebounds and Taiwanese center Hsi-Le Bao (196-90) added 15 points and 14 rebounds respectively for lost side. Tigers maintains fourth place in League with 6-5 record. Loser Ballarat Rush keeps the seventh position with six games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
