There was a minor upset in Woodville where much higher ranked Sabres (10-2) were defeated by fifth ranked Bearcats (7-5) 62-52 on Sunday. Bearcats forced 19 Sabres turnovers. Sky Langenbrinck (-91) fired 16 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. American guard Alexis Eckles (178-93, college: Cleveland St.) chipped in 9 points and 9 rebounds. Forward Chelsea Brook (188-98) produced a double-double by scoring 12 points and 11 rebounds and Kayla Mathews added 11 points respectively for lost side. Sabres' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Bearcats maintains fifth place in League with 7-5 record. Loser Sabres keep the second position with two games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
