The game between Top Four teams took place in Barquisimeto. Leader host Guaros (7-0) smashed 4th placed Gaiteros (0-6) 131-64. Guaros dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Gaiteros' 28. Guaros forced 23 Gaiteros turnovers and outrebounded them 52-39 including 17 on the offensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 30 assists comparing to just 13 passes made by Gaiteros' players. The best player for the winners was American power forward Skylar Spencer (208-94, college: San Diego St.) who had a double-double by scoring 23 points and 10 rebounds (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field). The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Guaros have an impressive series of seven victories in a row. Defending champion maintains second place in Western Conference with 7-0 record behind leader Trotamundos. Loser Gaiteros still closes the standings with six games lost. Guaros will again meet at home Gaiteros (#5) in the next round. Gaiteros will have a break next round.
