Finals Game 1: Oradea - Steaua CSM 86-73

Oradea rallied past Steaua to take the lead in the championship series. The game was mostly controlled by Oradea. Steaua CSM was better in third quarter 19-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Martin Zeno (196-85, college: Texas Tech) who helped to win the game recording 20 points, 5 rebounds, 6 assists and 5 steals. Lithuanian point guard Vaidas Kariniauskas (197-93) contributed with 19 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Four Oradea players scored in double figures. Bulgarian Pavel Marinov (199-88, agency: Interperformances) answered with 11 points and 6 assists and Serbian power forward Dragan Zekovic (209-87, agency: BeoBasket) added 16 points in the effort for Steaua CSM. Steaua CSM's coach Jukka Toijala rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
