CIBACOPA top team - Garra Canera de Navolato (22-11) managed to deliver another win on Tuesday. This time they beat ninth ranked Pioneros Los Mochis (13-20) 87-72. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Pioneros Los Mochis. American forward Brandon Swannegan (206-93, college: Tulsa) nailed a double-double by scoring 18 points and 16 rebounds for the winning side and his fellow American import guard Rick Bodiford (193-87, college: Z*Orangeville A's) accounted for 21 points and 7 rebounds. Five Garra Canera de Navolato players scored in double figures. American forward Taylor Johns (201-94, college: Cal-Riverside, agency: Slash Sports) came up with a double-double by scoring 28 points and 12 rebounds and Bahamas forward Tavario Miller (203-94, college: Texas A&M) added 13 points and 16 rebounds respectively for Pioneros Los Mochis in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Garra Canera de Navolato have a solid series of four victories in a row. They maintain first place with 22-11 record. Loser Pioneros Los Mochis dropped to the bottom position with 20 games lost. Garra Canera de Navolato will again meet at home bottom-ranked Pioneros Los Mochis (#10) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Pioneros Los Mochis will have a break next round.
