Steaua upset Oradea to even the championship series at 1-1. The guests trailed by 5 points after three quarters before their 24-14 charge, which allowed them to win the game. The best player for the winners was American power forward Randal Falker (201-85, college: S.Illinois) who scored 19 points and 5 rebounds. The other American import swingman Jonte Flowers (196-85, college: Winona St.) chipped in 13 points. Steaua CSM's coach Jukka Toijala used a ten-player rotation in such tough game.
