State League top team - Lightning (13-1) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed fifth ranked Suns (9-6) in Kalamunda 99-77. Lightning players were unselfish on offense dishing 27 assists. The best player for the winners was American forward Sydnee Fipps (178, college: Cal-Davis) who scored 21 points and 4 assists. The other American import swingman Ali Schwagmeyer (177-90, college: Quincy) chipped in 19 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Coach 's team controlled all game and the coach could let to play all 12 players and allowed the starting five to rest. Swingman Alex Ciabattoni (183-94) produced a double-double by scoring 17 points, 12 rebounds and 8 assists and American power forward Jennie Rintala (188-90, college: S.Dakota St.) added 16 points respectively for the hosts. Lightning maintains first position in League with 13-1 record. Suns at the other side keep the fifth place with six games lost.
