Regular Season Round 5: Quilicura - Brisas 57-68

Very important is a home loss of third ranked Quilicura (1-2) against fifth ranked Brisas (1-3) on Saturday night. Host Quilicura was defeated by Brisas in Quilicura 68-57. Power forward Sascha Frings (202-86) nailed 21 points and 8 rebounds for the winning side and Marcelo Vasquez (-97) accounted for 12 points and 5 rebounds. Brisas' coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. The former international swingman Jose Campos (189-80) came up with 17 points and 7 rebounds and Isaias Cornejo (-96) added 12 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for Quilicura in the defeat. Brisas left bottom position moving up to fourth place in Pro. Quilicura at the other side keeps the third position with two games lost. Brisas will play against league's leader Puente Alto at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Quilicura will have a break next round.
