Top-ranked JKL LD faced 4th ranked KIU Rangers. Host JKL LD (6-0) defeated guests from (3-3) 48-35. The best player for the winners was the former international power forward Muhaimina Namuwaya (183-88) who scored 13 points. Nakirijja Peace chipped in 13 points. JKL LD's coach used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the other side the best for losing team was center Brenda Aujat (176-94) who recorded 11 points and 7 rebounds and center Moureen Atulinda (-89) added 6 points respectively. JKL LD have an impressive six-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 6-0 record. KIU Rangers at the other side dropped to the sixth place with three games lost. JKL LD are looking forward to face A1 Challenge (#3) in the next round, which may be the game of the day. KIU Rangers will play against Angels and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
