The most surprising game was a loss of top-ranked Garra Canera de Navolato (23-13) on the court of sixth ranked Aguilas Doradas de Durango on Saturday night. Visitors were defeated by Aguilas Doradas de Durango 87-79. Aguilas Doradas de Durango dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Garra Canera de Navolato's 28. American players dominated the game. It was a good game for point guard Jeffery Stubbs (189-91, college: Jackson St.) who led his team to a victory with 24 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. Aguilas Doradas de Durango maintains sixth position with 17-19 record. Garra Canera de Navolato at the other side still keeps top place with 13 games lost. Aguilas Doradas de Durango are looking forward to face Frayles de Guasave (#8) on the road in the next round. Garra Canera de Navolato will play against Lobos UAD Mazatlan (#10) and is hoping to win this game.
