Another exciting game for Halcones de Ciudad Obregon (16-20) which played on the court of 7th ranked Lobos UAD Mazatlan (15-21). Eighth ranked Halcones de Ciudad Obregon upset home team edging them after exciting game by two points 97-95. Halcones de Ciudad Obregon dominated down low during the game scoring 72 of its points in the paint compared to Lobos UAD Mazatlan's 46. Halcones de Ciudad Obregon players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. Five Halcones de Ciudad Obregon and four Lobos UAD Mazatlan players scored in double figures. Defending champion moved-up to seventh place. Lobos UAD Mazatlan at the other side dropped to the bottom position with 21 games lost. They share it with Guasave and Los Mochis. Halcones de Ciudad Obregon will play against higher ranked Tijuana Zonkeys (#3) at home in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Lobos UAD Mazatlan will play against the league's leader Garra Canera de Navolato (#1) where they are definitely not considered as a favorite in this game either.
