Undefeated leader JKL LD delivered the sixth consecutive victory. This time they beat 8th ranked Nkumba LM (2-4) 57-53. It was a good game for the former international power forward Muhaimina Namuwaya (183-88) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 11 rebounds. International guard Angella Namirimu (-90) contributed with 10 points and 4 assists for the winners. JKL LD's coach allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Guard Brenda Ekone (152-96) replied with 22 points and Mary Nuba added 3 points and 13 rebounds in the effort for Nkumba LM. JKL LD (6-0) have an impressive six-game winning streak. They maintain first position with a perfect record of 6 victories in a row. Nkumba LM lost third consecutive game. They keep the eighth place with four games lost. JKL LD will play against A1 Challenge (#3) in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Nkumba LM will play against UCU Ladies (#5) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
