Undefeated leader Betway Power recorded the eighth consecutive victory. This time they beat 12th ranked UPDF (1-8) 84-79. The former international forward Joseph Ikong (193-85) orchestrated the victory by scoring 13 points. Stephen Wundi contributed with 13 points and 5 assists for the winners. Four Betway Power players scored in double figures. Betway Power's coach used entire bench in such tough game. Bernard Okumu answered with 20 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals and swingman Felix Mukunzi (193) added 23 points in the effort for UPDF. The victory was the eighth consecutive win for Betway Power. They maintain first place with 8-0 record. UPDF lost their fifth game in a row. They stay at the bottom position with eight games lost. Betway Power's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in to the arena .
