CIBACOPA top team - Garra Canera de Navolato (24-13) added another victory to their record. This time they beat tenth ranked Lobos UAD Mazatlan (15-22) 93-88. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Hameed Ali (188-93, college: Texas A&M-CC) who helped to win the game recording 25 points and 8 rebounds. His fellow American import forward Brandon Swannegan (206-93, college: Tulsa) contributed with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 13 rebounds for the winners. Jamaican-American guard Akeem Scott (185-83, college: High Point) answered with a double-double by scoring 17 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists and American guard Jeff Ledbetter (190-88, college: Idaho) added 20 points in the effort for Lobos UAD Mazatlan. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Garra Canera de Navolato maintains first place with 24-13 record. Lobos UAD Mazatlan at the other side stay at the bottom position with 22 games lost. Garra Canera de Navolato's next round opponent will be again bottom-ranked Lobos UAD Mazatlan (#10) at home and are hoping to win another game.
