The game with biggest result difference took place in Culiacan. Local Caballeros de Culiacan (21-17) beat 5th ranked Ostioneros de Guaymas (19-19) 112-95. Caballeros de Culiacan shot the lights out from three nailing 21 long-distance shots on high 53.8 percentage. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. American guard Jaylen Bland (190-93, college: Cal-Riverside) notched 39 points (!!!) and 7 rebounds to lead the effort and the other American import guard Bruce Massey (190-90, college: Middle Tenn.St.) supported him with 17 points, 7 rebounds and 11 assists. Caballeros de Culiacan's coach Martin Knezevic used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. Even 28 points and 5 assists by naturalized American swingman PJ Reyes (196-88, college: Charleston) did not help to save the game for Ostioneros de Guaymas. American point guard Jawan Davis (184-89, college: Claflin) added 20 points and 4 assists for the guests. Five Caballeros de Culiacan and four Ostioneros de Guaymas players scored in double figures. Caballeros de Culiacan moved-up to third place, which they share with Tijuana. Ostioneros de Guaymas at the other side keep the fifth position with 19 games lost.
