There was a minor upset in Floreat where 7th ranked Tigers (10-8) were crushed by seventh ranked Hawks (10-8) 92-70 on Friday. Hawks dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to Tigers' 40. American power forward Jacob Holmen (202-91, college: N.Texas) fired 25 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Guard Lochlan Cummings (189-95, college: Hope International) chipped in 16 points. Five Hawks players scored in double figures. Guard Damien Scott (192-92) produced 23 points and Senegalese power forward Badou Diagne (205-93, college: Co.Carolina) added 16 points and 10 rebounds respectively for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Hawks moved-up to fourth place in League. Hawks will face higher ranked Redbacks (#3) in Northbridge in the next round and it may be the game of the week. Tigers will play on the road against Redbacks (#3) in Northbridge and hope to win that game.
