The game between closely ranked teams ended with twelfth ranked Logan Thunder's (3-7) home victory over 13th ranked Rollers (1-7) 107-86 on Sunday. Logan Thunder had a 29-17 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a great shooting night for Logan Thunder especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 56.3 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 33 assists. It was a great evening for swingman Mikhaela Donnelly (177-94) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 28 points and 13 assists. C Carroll helped adding 21 points and 4 assists. The best for the losing side was Kate Hewett (-96) with 14 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists and Siarn Woods scored 21 points. Four Logan Thunder and five Rollers players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Logan Thunder maintains twelfth place in League with 3-7 record. Loser Rollers keep the thirteenth position with seven games lost. Logan Thunder will face higher ranked Pirates (#4) in Runcorn in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Rollers will play on the road against Meteorettes (#9) in Mackay and hope to win that game.
