There was no surprise in Melbourne where 10th ranked Keilor T. (4-10) was defeated by third ranked Eltham Wildcats (10-5) 61-53 on Sunday. Eltham Wildcats forced 19 Keilor T. turnovers. Keilor T. was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Jordan Canovan fired 10 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Center Simon Bradbury (215-89) chipped in 9 points and 10 rebounds. Matt Spencer produced 14 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists and American guard Jordan Coleman (196-92, college: Valparaiso) added 16 points and 6 rebounds respectively for lost side. Eltham Wildcats maintains third position in League with 10-5 record having just six point less than leader Mackay M. Newly promoted Keilor T. keeps the tenth place with ten games lost. Eltham Wildcats will face Casey C. (#7) in Cranbourne in the next round. Keilor T. will play on the road against McKinnon C. and hope to win that game.
