A very close game took place in Hochiminh between Danang Dragons and Hochiminh CW. Danang Dragons (1-0) got a very close victory on the road over Hochiminh CW (0-2). Danang Dragons managed to escape with a 2-point win 77-75 on Tuesday evening. American forward Chris Dierker (201, college: Madonna) nailed a double-double by scoring 27 points and 19 rebounds for the winning side and his fellow American import forward Zach Allmon (203, college: Vanguard) accounted for 27 points and 11 rebounds. American forward Quinton Doggett (206-90, college: Southern) came up with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 16 rebounds and Hai Nguyen Huynh added 15 points respectively for Hochiminh CW in the defeat. Danang Dragons will meet Thang Long W. (#5) in the next round. Hochiminh CW will play again against Danang Dragons and hope to win that game.
