Rather predictable result in Montevideo where sixth ranked Colon (4-1) defeated 10th ranked Larre Borges (1-4) 98-85 on Tuesday. Colon made 16-of-19 free shots (84.2 percent) during the game. Colon outrebounded Larre Borges 45-29 including 31 on the defensive glass. Forward Fernando Verrone (196-88) stepped up and scored 23 points and 9 rebounds for the winners and center Rogelio De-Leon (208-89) chipped in 24 points and 10 rebounds (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field).
