Redbacks looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. Naturalized Scottish power forward Michael Vigor (206-90) saved the victory by scoring 18 points and 8 rebounds. The former international forward Shawn Redhage (203-81, college: Arizona St.) contributed with 12 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. Senegalese power forward Badou Diagne (205-93, college: Co.Carolina) answered with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 14 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) and American swingman Jay Bowie (196-92, college: Marist) added 15 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Tigers. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Redbacks maintains third place in League with 13-7 record having just twelve point less than leader Mackay M. Loser Tigers keep the seventh position with nine games lost. Redbacks will face Magic (#12) in Mandurah in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Tigers will play at home against Lightning (#6) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
