Swingman Sam McDaniel (198-95, college: La-Monroe) answered with 18 points and 7 rebounds and naturalized British forward Lewis Thomas (203-92, college: W.Oregon) added 10 points and 11 rebounds in the effort for Mount Gambier Pioneers. Mount Gambier Pioneers' coach rotated ten players and allowed the starting five to rest. Bendigo Braves moved-up to second place in League. Loser Mount Gambier Pioneers keep the sixth position with eight games lost. Bendigo Braves will face Geelong Supercats (#4) at home in the next round. Mount Gambier Pioneers will play against Frankston Blues and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
