No shocking result in a game in Runcorn where fourth ranked Pirates (7-2) smashed 12th ranked Logan Thunder (3-8) 78-56 on Saturday. Pirates made 16-of-20 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. They also forced 31 Logan Thunder turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Logan Thunder's players. The former international guard Nicole Seekamp (178-92, college: S.Dakota) fired a double-double by scoring 25 points, 12 rebounds, 7 assists and 8 steals (made all of her eight free throws) for the winners. Swingman Stephanie Bairstow (188-94, college: Utah St.) chipped in 18 points and 6 rebounds. Pirates' coach felt very confident using entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
