Not a big story in a game in Morphett Vale where 9th ranked Lions (3-11) were outplayed by fifth ranked Tigers (8-6) 96-54 on Saturday. Tigers dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Lions' 26. Tigers forced 19 Lions turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists comparing to just 13 passes made by Lions' players. Forward Mollie McKendrick (183-93, college: Boston U.) fired 29 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. Demi Skinner (-97) chipped in 20 points. Four Tigers players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Tigers maintains fifth position in League with 8-6 record. Loser Lions keep the ninth place with 11 games lost. Tigers will face Panthers (#10) in Adelaide in the next round where they are favorite. Lions will play at home against Eagles and hope to win that game.
