Not a big story in a game when bottom-ranked NGC Seahawks (0-10) were outscored on the road by ninth ranked Brisbane Capitals (5-5) 120-67 on Saturday. The game without a history. Brisbane Capitals led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding NGC Seahawks to just 4 points in fourth quarter. Brisbane Capitals dominated down low during the game scoring 70 of its points in the paint compared to NGC Seahawks' 26. Brisbane Capitals forced 30 NGC Seahawks turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 41 assists comparing to just 19 passes made by NGC Seahawks' players. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Brisbane Capitals moved-up to seventh place in League. Newly promoted NGC Seahawks still closes the standings with ten games lost. Brisbane Capitals will face higher ranked Logan T. (#5) in Loganholme in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. NGC Seahawks will play on the road against Toowoomba Mountaineers (#11) and hope to get finally their first victory.
